Fig and mushroom tart

Really easy and so yummy!!
Preparing time: less than 15min Cooking: 30min Oven: 350C Mold: 9 inch round pie tart or 13.75″ x 4.25″ rectangular pie tart

  • 1 pastry dough
  • 13 clean and dried figs
  • 1/2 pound white or cremini mushrooms, rinsed briefly and wiped dry
  • Goat cheese and mozzarella
  • Honey
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Cut the fig in 2 and keep aside with pastry dough. Pre- heat oven at 350C.
  2. Pan cooked them with 2 tbs of olive oil (or the oil that you like). Taste and adjust seasonings. Remove from the heat.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough and adjust to your pie pan adding 3 inch more. It has ti be large enough to fit up the fluted sides of the pan. Press the dough into the pan and remove the excess. With a fork press the tines into the bottom of the pastry dough
  4. Add the sautéed mushrooms then the fig and lastly the cheese.
  5. Drizzle some honey
  6. Cook for about 30min
