Fig and mushroom tart

Really easy and so yummy!!
Preparing time: less than 15min Cooking: 30min Oven: 350C Mold: 9 inch round pie tart or 13.75″ x 4.25″ rectangular pie tart
- 1 pastry dough
- 13 clean and dried figs
- 1/2 pound white or cremini mushrooms, rinsed briefly and wiped dry
- Goat cheese and mozzarella
- Honey
- Salt and pepper
- Cut the fig in 2 and keep aside with pastry dough. Pre- heat oven at 350C.
- Pan cooked them with 2 tbs of olive oil (or the oil that you like). Taste and adjust seasonings. Remove from the heat.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough and adjust to your pie pan adding 3 inch more. It has ti be large enough to fit up the fluted sides of the pan. Press the dough into the pan and remove the excess. With a fork press the tines into the bottom of the pastry dough
- Add the sautéed mushrooms then the fig and lastly the cheese.
- Drizzle some honey
- Cook for about 30min
